DSLR D6

  • NEVER LOSE FOCUS

Perfect for sports photographers and photojournalists, never miss a decisive moment with the D6. The 105-point AF cross sensors deliver superior focus acquisition through a new algorithm in the AF sensor and a new AF engine with Multi-CAM37K autofocus sensor module, giving you more coverage through a higher-density triple-sensor arrangement. This greatly reduces non-AF covered areas, making it 1.6x more accurate than the D5. Enjoy a continuous shooting speed of approximately of 14 fps1 with AF/AE, driven by the newly developed mirror driving mechanism.

  • UP YOUR GAME

Time is of the essence. Improve your work flow with faster image transfers. Built-in Wi-Fi and WT-6 transmitters ensure quicker and more versatile methods of uploading your images, along with a port for Wired LAN, which supports 1000BASE-T standard and achieves approx. 15% faster communication. RAW image transfers to a smart device are also made possible through SnapBridge, which is an added convenience when you need to share images with editors and clients on the go. Another added benefit is priority image upload, a feature that allows you to select and send handpicked images rapidly through wired LAN and WT-6/A/B/C, making it perfect for time sensitive jobs, such as real-time photojournalism. This makes the D6 a truly great addition to any professional’s arsenal.

  • RIGHT ON TARGET

Silent photography with full megapixels is now possible in live view photography. Take control of any photographic situation with silent, high-speed continuous shooting at approximately 10.5 fps (with AE tracking and fixed AF). Silent time-lapse and silent interval timer photography is also possible. In situations where silence is required, the D6 comes in handy during time-sensitive events or when you want to avoid mechanical blur when filming a time-lapse that requires a large number of shutter releases. Get creative without any disturbances.

  • QUICK ON THE DRAW

Experience a new kind of efficiency with the image confirmation/selection workflow for simultaneous recording with the D6. Utilising two designated slots, users can easily sort and playback shots they’ve taken on the go. Simultaneously capture large JPEG images for editing, or smaller JPEG images and enjoy faster transfers with dual-card slots, maximising your workflow efficiency. Reduce your transfer time even further with flick operation, a function that allows you to access your frequently used and preferred settings with a flick of a switch. Building upon the D5, enjoy the same great operability and ergonomics, along with an industry standard Kensington security slot for greater peace of mind while out on a shoot.
